Chitranjali Negi, the esteemed Secretary of KMS Trust, is a distinguished Supreme Court's lawyer and social activist with a strong background in law and human rights. Holding a Master’s degree in Comparative Constitutional and Administrative Law, she brings over 14 years of experience practicing independently at the Supreme Court of India. As an international law author, researcher, and mediator, Chitranjali contributions have garnered acclaim both nationally and globally. Chitranjali is a passionate advocate for human rights, and her dedication to the cause is reflected in her prolific body of work, including two seminal law books and over 15 international research papers. Her research on Virtual Courtrooms was notably considered during a Parliamentary Committee Meeting in India, and her profound analysis of the Human Rights Violations of Migrant Workers in India during the Covid-19 Pandemic was acknowledged by the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, a U.S. Department of Defense Regional Center. Her international recognition includes honors from the Chief Justice of India for her books, ODR: Research Papers Collections and Law of Public Interest Litigation in India & Other Countries. Chitranjali was also selected to address the UN Conference on Confronting Violence within and between Communities, advocating for the creation and strengthening of peace and justice mechanisms in India. Her commitment to global initiatives is further exemplified by her collaboration with Utah Valley University at the Why It Matters Conference 2022 and her recognition from The National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution, USA. Chitranjali has been a keynote speaker on E-Courts: ODR in Indian Judicial System at the 16th International Forum on Online Dispute Resolution in Beijing, China, and has presented papers and speeches at several international conferences across the world, including The Hague, Paris, Milan, Bangkok, Brussels, and Dhaka. As a core committee member of Amnesty International India in 2008, she received the AI Award for social activism in the UK and India. She is also a member of several prestigious international legal organizations, including the London Court of International Arbitration, Dubai International Financial Center, Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy, International Ombudsman Association, and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
